This is an original, stated 3rd draft script of BATMAN, dated February 29, 1988 that is SIGNED (hand autographed) by its 2 stars, Jack Nicholson (The Joker) and Michael Keaton (Batman).<br>I purchased this script on June 29th, 1998 at Butterfield & Butterfield Entertainment Memorabilia auction #6814B; it was lot #6121. I was a phone bidder at that auction (no internet back then!).<br>I am also including the original auction catalog (see photos) and invoice (personal info digitally hidden in photo) that I received/paid, as complete documentation.<br>This script is 112 pages long. Approximately 11" x 8 1/2". As stated in the auction catalog, this script was "From the collection of Sigmund Goode."<br>Minor soiling on cover and bent clasps as shown in photos. No handwriting inside script. No rips or tears.<br>A Jack Nicholson autograph is<br>desirable<br>in its own right, but on the script in which he played one of his most infamous characters, The Joker, makes this a special gift. His portrayal of that character in Batman was the basis for many others.<br>There are plenty of reproductions of this script available, some of which purport to have original signatures. Be careful when researching/buying.
